Our drivers dump the load where you mark it, on your driveway or another hard surface. We deliver to hard surfaces only, not lawns or soft ground. A few more things specific to Severna Park:
- Waterfront lots often fall inside the Chesapeake Bay Critical Area. Mulching is routine, but check with Anne Arundel County before clearing or regrading near the shoreline.
- Community roads near the water can be narrow with soft shoulders. Mark a hard-surface drop spot and note any tight turns.
- Sandy soil dries out fast. Compost plus 2 to 3 inches of mulch keeps beds from baking in summer.

Severna Park Delivery Questions
Is Severna Park close to your office?
Yes. Our Maryland office is in Edgewater, about 20 minutes south. It's an office, not a pickup yard; every order is delivered.
Can I mulch inside the Critical Area?
Routine mulching of existing beds is fine. Clearing, regrading or new hardscape near the shoreline usually needs county approval.
Do you deliver to Arnold and Cape St. Claire?
Yes. We deliver throughout the Broadneck peninsula and all of Anne Arundel County.
Is delivery to Severna Park really free?
Yes. Delivery is free to Severna Park and the rest of our Maryland service area. The one exception is white decorative stone, which has a $150 delivery fee shown on the product page and at checkout.
How fast can you deliver?
We try to deliver the next business day, Monday through Friday, and you can pick a later date at checkout. We don't guarantee a time of day, so add clear drop instructions in your order notes (for example, "left side of the driveway").
How are your products sold?
Mulch, topsoil, compost and wood chips are sold by the cubic yard. Stone, gravel and sand are sold by the ton. Firewood is sold by the cord. Minimum orders are 5 cubic yards for mulch and compost, 1 cubic yard for topsoil, and 1 ton for stone and sand.
