The City of Alexandria vacuums leaves from late October through January. Leaves set out in bags must be in paper bags, because leaves in plastic bags are collected as trash. (source)

Delivering in Alexandria: What to Know
Our drivers dump the load right where you mark it, on your driveway or another hard surface. We deliver to hard surfaces only, not lawns or soft ground. A few more things specific to Alexandria:
- Old Town and Del Ray streets are narrow and many homes have no driveway. We deliver to hard surfaces only, so you'll need a paved spot such as a rear parking pad. Call us before ordering if you're not sure.
- Smaller loads are popular here. Use our calculator to size your order so you don't end up with extra material and nowhere to put it.
- Mount Vernon and Fort Hunt lots often have long driveways under tall trees. Let us know about low limbs so the truck can dump safely.
