Our Story

With decades of experience, the team of Mulch and Stone Landscape Supply has a wealth of knowledge and industry insights to bring the very best options for your lawn care needs. Owners Jeff and Carleen bring more than 30 years of expertise in landscaping and delivering quality landscaping materials. This hardworking couple first got their start with a single house flip that has grown into a life passion and successful business.

In 1991, the pair purchased a home in Manassas, Virginia that needed a lot of work. As they worked on the house, they also paid special attention to the curb appeal of the property. From flower beds to maintaining a lush, green lawn, and even having several truckloads of gravel added to the neglected driveway, they dove headfirst into this project and learned a lot. Over the next 13 years, they continued to expand on their knowledge of landscaping and gardening.

Jeff began working for a landscape company in 2005, where he was promoted to Operations Manager in just two years. He had tripled sales for the organization and was always striving to deliver exceptional service. He realized he wanted to branch out on his own to provide the kind of quality care he knew the community needed. With Carleen by his side, they started Mulch and Stone Landscape Supply. Today, they have 8 trucks serving Maryland, Northern Virginia, Charlotte, North Carolina, and the South Carolina Metro Area.
