At Mulch and Stone, we’re proud to offer fast and reliable delivery of top-quality landscaping materials. Please read through our policy to ensure a smooth and safe delivery experience.

Where We Deliver

We proudly deliver to homes, businesses, and landscapers in:

  • Virginia: Arlington, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William counties
  • Maryland: Anne Arundel, Howard, Montgomery, and Prince George’s counties

What We Deliver

We deliver a wide range of premium landscaping products, including:

  • Double shredded hardwood mulch
  • Black, brown, and red dyed mulch
  • Screened topsoil and compost blends
  • River rock, decorative stone, and bluestone gravel
  • Mason sand, concrete sand, and white play sand
  • Seasoned firewood

Delivery Guidelines

  • Driveway-Only Policy: All deliveries must be placed on a hard surface driveway. We do not deliver off-driveway or onto lawns, dirt, or other non-hard surfaces.
  • Prepare for Delivery: Please remove vehicles, trailers, or other obstacles from your driveway. Our trucks require adequate space and overhead clearance (no low branches or wires) to safely unload.
  • Special Placement Requests: If you have a preferred spot within your driveway for us to unload the material, please include those details during checkout or leave a visible note at your front door. To ensure accuracy, the area must be clearly marked with a tarp, cone, flag, or chalk. Unmarked requests may be skipped or delivered at the driver’s discretion.
  • Delivery Window: We deliver Monday–Friday. While we do our best to meet requested dates, specific delivery times are not guaranteed.
  • Rain or Shine: We deliver in all weather. Our products are stored outside and made for outdoor use.

Cancellations & Refusals

  • To Reschedule: Contact us by the end of business the day before your delivery to reschedule without penalty.
  • Same-Day Cancellations or Refusals: Cancellations or refusals made on the day of delivery are subject to a $150 service fee.

Returns & Liability

  • All Sales Are Final: Once delivered and dumped, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds.
  • Limiting Risk: By delivering only to driveways, we aim to prevent damage. However, Mulch and Stone is not responsible for any damage to driveways or surrounding property.
